Benzodiazepines are addictive and susceptible to abuse therefore only the minimum number of tablets required should be prescribed.
An appropriate 5-day regimen is:
Diazepam Tablets, 2 mg
Send: 15 tablets
Label: 1 tablet three times daily
Not recommended because it has an unpredictable effect in children.
For adults:
