Fluconazole
Fluconazole is appropriate for extensive or severe infection, or when miconazole or nystatin treatment is unsuitable or ineffective.
Fluconazole interacts with many drugs, including warfarin and statins, and therefore do not give fluconazole to patients taking these drugs.
An appropriate 7-day regimen is:
Fluconazole Capsules, 50 mg
Send: 16 capsules
Label: 4 capsules (total dose 200 mg) once daily on the first day, followed by 2 capsules (total dose 100 mg) once daily

6 mg/kg on first day (max 400 mg) and then 3 mg/kg (max. 200 mg) daily |

For adults:
